ditional animal; for every score of sheep or swine
five cents per mile, and in proportion for less num-
bers; for every score of cattle per mile ten cents,
and for less numbers in proportion; for every
horse and rider, or every led or driven horse, one
and one-half cents per mile.

 

Sec. 8. And be it enacted, That the Directors of
said Company shall have power to make and adopt
such by-laws, rules and regulations for the direc-
tion and management of said Company as may in
their judgment be necessary for the purposes of
their corporation, not inconsistent with this char-
ter, and the laws and Constitution of this State;

and the President and Directors, or a majority of
them, shall constitute, appoint and employ such
