Joint Resolution requesting the Senators
and Representatives of this State in Congress,
to-urge the passage of House of Representa-
tives Bill No. 4806, for the construction of a
bridge over the Eastern Branch of the Potomac
river, at the foot of Pennsylvania avenue, in
the city of Washington.

WHEREAS a great benefit will be conferred upon
a large number of the citizens of this State

by the construction of a bridge across the
Eastern Branch of the Potomac river, at the
foot of Pennsylvania avenue, in the city of
Washington; and

Preamble.

WHEREAS there is now pending in the Congress
of the United States a bill for the construc-
tion of such a bridge; therefore,

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Senators and Representa-
tives of . this State in the Congress of the

Preamble.

United States, be and they are hereby requested
to urge the passage, at the earliest day practi-
cable, of the bill now pending in the House
of Representatives, No. 4806, providing for
the construction of said bridge.
