of appearance to s.d Recognizance y.e s.d Daniel appears and thereupon
the s.d Robert Meeks and Richard Davis their Recognizances
and Either of them is Discharged

    Kent County fs.t the Jurors for the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry that
now is for the body of Kent County afd upon their oath Do present that
Daniel Pearkins late of Shrewsbury parish in the County afd Labourer
the first Day of June Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred &
twenty and five at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction
of this Court with force and Arms to wit with one hand Gunn
loadend and Charged with Gunpowder Bullets and Shot one Mare
of a Bay Colour of the price of Nine Hundred pounds of Tob.o of
the Goods and Chattels of a Certain John Johnson Gentleman then
and there being found then and there Did Shoot and wound in so
much that the Mare afd by means of the Shooting and wounding
afd there Dyed to the Great Damage of the Same John Johnson &
against the peace of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his Good Rule &
government &c.a        T Francis Cler. pac.

    And the afd Daniel in his proper person Cometh and Saith that he
is in no Sort guilty of the premisses above upon him Imposed as by the
afd Indictment it is alledged and thereof he putteth himself upon the
Country.  Dan.l Pearkins in p.a psona

    And he who followeth for the Lord prop.ry in like manner Saith he is
guilty        T Francis p Lord prop.ry

    And now here afterwards to wit the Same Day and year afd Comes into
Court the afd Daniel Pearkins in his proper person and Relinquishes
the plea afd and Saith that he Cannot Gainsay the Indictment
afd so as afd against him brought nor but that he is guilty of
the premisses above upon him Imposed as by the afd Indictment
it is alledged & thereupon Submitts to the Court Therefore it is Considered
by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in
