Coll Edward Scott one of  the Justices of this Court Returns a Bond
against John Devnish bearing Date y.e Octob.r 10.th 1724 the
s.d John haveing appeared Ordered that his & his Suretys Bond
be Discharged

    John Devnish of Kent County in the Province of Maryland at the Same day
afd acknowledged himself Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord prop.ry in the full
and Just Sume of twenty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed on his body Goods & Chattels
Lands & Tenements for y.e use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs &c.a Conditionally
that if he the s.d John Devnish Should not well and truely make his personal
appearance before the Justices of this County Court to answer unto his Lordship the Lord
proprietor of all Such felonious facts as Should then and there be laid to his Charge
the s.d John haveing appeared he is Discharged from his Bond afd            also

    Michael Miller Sen.r Michael Byrne & John Jones planters at the same
Day afd Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord prop.ry in the
full and Just Sume of Six pounds thirteen Shillings [and] four pence Sterling Each to be
leveyed on their Goods & Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry
his heirs &c.a Conditionally that if John Devnish Should not well and truely make
his personal appearance before the Justices of this County Court to answer unto
his Lordship the Lord proprietor of all Such felonious facts as Should then and there
be laid to his Charge the s.d John haveing appeared the s.d Mich.l Miller Sen.r
Mich.l Byrne & Jn.o Jones and Either of them are Discharged from their Bond
