Court to answer unto what Shall be objected against him on Suspicion of felony & In
the mean time to be of Good Behaviour And that the Sherf of Kent County keep
him y.e s.d John in Safe Custody untill he Shall Enter as afd

    Thereupon John Devnish of Kent County planter present herein Court
in his proper person Doth acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Honble
the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland his heirs and Successors in the
Sume of thirty pounds Sterl money of Great Brittain to be made & Leveyed of his
Goods & Chattels lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and
Successors Conditionally that if the same John Shall not make his personal
appearance before the Justices of the next Court to be held for Said County at the
Court house in the Town of Chester in the same County on the third Teusday of March
next Ensueing to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him on Suspicion
of felony & if that in the mean time he Shall not be of good behav.r wherewith
the s.d John Doth Acknowledge himselfe to be Content            also

    George Hanson & John Jones both of Kent County planters present herein Court in
their proper persons Do Acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Right Hon.ble the
Lord prop.ry of this Province of Maryland &c.a in the Sume of fifteen pounds
Sterl money of Great Brittain to be made & Leveyed of their Several Goods and
Chattels Lands and Tenements for y.e use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs & Successors
Conditionally that if the afd John Devnish Shall not make his ^personall^ appearance
before the Justices of the next Co.rt to be held for the County afd at the Courthouse
in the Town of Chester in the same County on the third Teusday of March next
Ensueing to Answer unto what Shall be objected ag.st him y.e Same John Devnish
Shall not be of Good Behav.r wherewith the Same Geo. Hanson & John
Jones are Content

    The Co.rt adjorns till to Morrow Morning at Eight of the Clock
