connection therewith in an attempt to have similar legisla-
tion enacted by the three States applicable to such matters;
and be it further
Resolved, That the Speaker of the House of Delegates
and the President of the Senate of Maryland be requested
to act jointly in appointing five members from the General
Assembly of Maryland to represent this State in the study
of laws relating to fin fish, said committee to be comprised
of three members of the House of Delegates and two mem-
bers of the Senate of Maryland; and be it further
Resolved, That the Secretary of State of Maryland be
instructed to send copies of this Resolution under the
Great Seal of the State of Maryland to the presiding officers
of both Houses of the Legislatures in the States of Vir-
ginia and North Carolina.

House Joint Resolution requesting the Speaker of the
House and the President of the Senate to set up a Leg-
islative Committee to cooperate with the Citizens' Com-
mittee on educational TV.
WHEREAS, there has been organized a Citizens' Com-
mittee on educational TV to give serious and concerted
study to the educational possibilities of the use of tele-
vision; and
WHEREAS, this Committee is investigating the values
of having a television station in the City of Baltimore de-
voted entirely to educational work; and
WHEREAS, the educational possibilities of television were
strikingly underscored during recent weeks when most of
the schools of Baltimore City were unexpectedly closed
