1951, Ch. 582—Seat Pleasant
OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at a Special Election held on the
1st Monday of June of 1951, an Act known as Chapter 582
of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1951 was submitted
to the voters of the Town of Seat Pleasant, Prince George's
County, for their adoption or rejection, under the provisions
of Chapter 582 of the Acts of 1951, said Act being:
"An Act authorizing the Mayor and Common Council
of the Town of Seat Pleasant in Prince George's
County, to construct and maintain a storm water
drainage system within the said town".
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 12 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 582 of the Acts of 1951
and 15 votes were cast against the adoption of the said
Act; and a majority of the votes being cast against the
adoption of said Chapter 582 of the Acts of 1951, it has
therefore failed of ratification.
