CHAP. 560.
To give bond.
|
tracts of land, called Petticot's Hope, Eder's Plague,
and Elder's Inheritance, lying in Carroll county.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the person ap-
pointed trustee by the orphans court, as above provided,
shall, before proceeding to act, give bond, with security
to be approved by said court, conditioned for the faithful
performance of his or her duty as trustee, and shall
make oath, before some justice of the peace or judge of
the orphans court, to make a fair sale of said estate,
having first inserted in some newspaper, published in
Carroll county, notice of the time and terms of said sale,
and the said trustee shall make true return of all his
proceedings to the orphans court, as soon as may be af-
ter said sale, and the money, when received, shall be
paid over to such person or persons as the orphans court
shall designate.

executed.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That upon the payment
of the whole purchase money to the trustee, and not
before, the said trustee is hereby authorised and empow-
ered to convey, by a good and sufficient deed, the estate
by him sold, to the purchaser or purchasers, his, her or
their heirs and assigns, in fee simple.

An act entitled, an act to Divorce Noah Murphy, from
his wife, Susan Murphy.
|
|
|
Divorced.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the marriage heretofore solemnised between
Noah Murphy, of Caroline county, and Susan King,
be and the same is hereby declared to be absolutely null
and void, and the said Noah Murphy and Susan Mur-
phy, are hereby divorced, a vinculo matrimonii.
