Ex.d This is to Certifie that Richard Poole Jun.r came before me the
       Subscriber and took the following Oath Viz.t

                      I Rich.d Poole do swear that I will not for Lucre or Malice
       delay any Person or Persons applying to me for any business belonging
       to the Office I Officiate in and that I will not directly or indirectly ask
       Demand take or receive from or charge to any such person or Persons to
       my own Use (except my Sallary from my Principle) any Fee or
       Reward whatsoever for any Service I shall do as Clerk of the said Office
       And also that in making out the Office Fees I will not wittingly or
       Willingly Charge other or higher fees than Limited by the Act
       Entituled an Act for Amending the Staple of Tobacco for Preventing
       Frauds in his Majesty's Customs and for Limitation of Officers

Ex.d To all People to whome this present Writing shall come I Ann
       Greenfield of S.t Marys County in the Province of Maryland Send Greeting
       Know Ye that I the said Ann Greenfield Widow as well for & in Consideration
       of the Natural Affection and Love which I have and bear unto
       Nathaniel Parran of Calvert County in the Province aforesaid & my
       Grand daughter Ann Parran wife of the Nath.l Parran as also for divers
       other good Causes and Considerations me at Present Especially moving
       have given and Granted and by thes Presents do give grant and Confirm
       unto the said Nath.l Parran & Ann Parran his wife all my right and
       Title Interest property Claim & Demand of and to a Moiety or half part of
       a Tract of Land lying in Baltimore County called Bear neck the whole
       Tract said to Contain five hundred acres more or less & which said
       Land was given by the last will and Testament of Coll.o Walter Smith
       of Lower Marlbro in Calvert County to be Equally Divided Bettween
       my sister Eleanor Addison & my self & our Heirs refering to the said
       will being had more fully may appear To have and to
       hold the abovesaid Land & premisses with the appurtenances &
