RESOLUTION NO. 1988-2

A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WILLARDS,
MARYLAND, TO AMEND THE CHARTER FOR THE TOWN OF WILLARDS BY
REPEALING IN ITS ENTIRETY SECTION 102 OF ARTICLE I, THE MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION, OF THE CHARTER FOR THE TOWN OF WILLARDS AS IT
PRESENTLY EXISTS AND AMENDING SECTION 103 OF ARTICLE I, THE
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, OF THE CHARTER FOR THE TOWN OF WILLARDS AS
IT PRESENTLY EXISTS SUCH THAT IT BE RENUMBERED AS SECTION 102.

[Section(s) 102 of the Charter of the Town of Willards,
Wicomico County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed.

Section(s) 103 of the Charter of the Town of Willards,
Wicomico County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.                                                                                                   

Effective Date January 31, 1989]

RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSPORT, MARYLAND
TO AMEND SECTION 40. CLERK - TREASURER

Resolution of the Council of the Town of Williamsport,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to Article XI-E, Section 4 of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, entitled "Municipal
Corporations, Procedure for adoption amendment or repeal of
Charters;" and pursuant to Article XXIII-A of the Annotated Code
of the Public General Laws of Maryland, entitled
"Corporations-Municipal," as said sections were enacted by
Chapter 423 of the Laws of Maryland, 1955 and subsequent
amendments thereto; to amend the now existing Section 40 of the
Corporate Charter of the Town of Williamsport as adopted July 8,
1957, and subsequently amended entitled, SECTION 40.
