Hospital Center to be used to provide a portion of the funds to equip the residence
building and construct a multipurpose building at the Regional Institute for
Children and Adolescents - Baltimore, and to permit funds remaining in the
appropriation to alter Allegany/Faculty Hall and Garrett Hall to be used to provide
a portion of the funds to upgrade and install additional fume hoods in the Tawes
Science Building at Frostburg State University; amending Chapter 670 of the Acts
of 1983, the General Construction Loan of 1983, to permit funds remaining in the
appropriation to purchase equipment for the Archival Building at the State
Government Center - Annapolis and in the appropriation for the acquisition of
land, plans, specifications, and site improvements for the Salisbury multi-service
center to be used to provide a portion of the funds for the State capital facilities
renewal program, to permit funds remaining in the appropriation to convert office
space to laboratory space in the O'Conor Building to be used to provide a portion of
the funds to equip the residence building and to construct a multipurpose building
at the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents - Baltimore, and to permit
funds remaining in the appropriation to construct a visitor trail system to be used to
provide a portion of the funds to design, construct, and equip museum and park
improvements and exhibits, relocate structures, and conduct preconstruction
archaeological surveys and mitigation at Historic St. Mary's City; amending Chapter
82 of the Acts of 1984, the General Construction Loan of 1984, to permit funds
remaining in the appropriation to renovate the Oakland Armory to be used to
purchase capital equipment for the Laurel and Fort Ritchie Armories, to provide
design funds for additions and alterations to the Cade, Dundalk, and
Towson/Cockeysville Armories and to provide a portion of the funds to design,
construct, and equip the Cheltenham Armory and Organizational Maintenance
Shop; amending Chapter 125 of the Acts of 1985, the General Construction Loan of
1985, to permit funds remaining in the appropriation to renovate the underground
steam distribution system at Rosewood Center to be used to provide a portion of
the funds to equip the residence building and construct a multipurpose building at
the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents - Baltimore, and to permit
funds remaining in the appropriation to design and construct renovation for
adaptive reuse of the Brome/Howard House to be used to provide a portion of the
funds to design, construct, and equip museum and park improvements and exhibits,
relocate structures, and conduct preconstruction archaeological surveys and
mitigation at Historic St. Mary's City, and to permit funds remaining in the
appropriation to purchase capital equipment for the 1,500-cell medium security
correctional facility in Somerset County to be used to provide a portion of the funds
to design and construct a new medium security correctional facility in Allegany
County; amending Chapter 298 of the Acts of 1985, the Kent County Jail Loan of
1985, to permit funds remaining in the appropriation to construct the Kent County
Jail to be used to provide a portion of the funds to design, construct, provide
construction management services, and equip an expansion of the Harford County
Detention Center and to require a certain grantee to provide certain matching
funds by a certain date; amending Chapter 286 of the Acts of 1986, the General
Construction Loan of 1986, to permit funds remaining in the appropriation to
replace the roof at the Central Warehouse - Jessup to be used to provide a portion
of the funds for the State capital facilities renewal program, to permit funds
remaining in the appropriation to design and prepare detailed plans and
