the Maryland House of Correction in Anne Arundel County, funds remaining in the
appropriation to design the expansion and upgrade of the State Use Industries
Metal Shop #1 at the Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown, funds
remaining in the supplemental appropriation to acquire a site and prepare detailed
plans and specifications for the pre-release unit for women in Baltimore City, and
funds remaining in the appropriation to restore roofs on three housing units at the
Maryland Correctional Training Center to be used to provide a portion of the funds
to acquire property for a new medium/minimum security facility at a site to be
determined; amending Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987, the General Construction
Loan of 1987, to permit funds remaining in the appropriation to Morgan State
University to modify design of Phase II alterations and addition to the Science
Complex and purchase capital equipment to complete Phase I of the Science
Complex also to be used to provide a portion of the fund's to construct Phase II
alterations and addition to the Science Complex; amending Chapter 597 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1987, the General Construction Loan of 1987, to
authorize the crediting of unused appropriations for completed capital projects to
the Construction Contingency Fund; amending Chapter 542 of the Acts of 1988, the
General Construction Loan of 1988, to permit funds remaining in the appropriation
for the design of the demolition of the Old Dormitory Building and replacement of
the heating system in the Academic Building at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home to
be used to provide a portion of the funds to renovate the Academic Building;
amending Chapter 542 of the Acts of 1988, the General Construction Loan of 1988,
to permit portions of the funds remaining in the appropriation to construct a water
treatment plant at Springfield Hospital Center to be used to provide water service
to Springfield Hospital Center and to supplement the Water and Wastewater
Facilities Improvement Fund created by this Act; amending Chapter 542 of the Acts
of 1988, the General Construction Loan of 1988, to permit funds remaining in the
appropriation to restore the roof on the Vocational Shops/Library Building at the
Maryland Correctional Institution — Jessup to be used to provide a portion of the
funds to acquire property for a new medium/minimum security facility at a site to be
determined; amending Chapter 542 of the Acts of 1988, the General Construction
Loan of 1988, to permit a portion of the appropriation for razing the former St.
Paul's School building to be used for the construction of Phase I of the Health
Sciences Facility; amending, Chapter 542 of the Acts of 1988, the General
Construction Loan of 1988, to permit a portion of the funds appropriated to replace
the transmitter for WMPT at Owings Mills, to be used for the replacement of a
transmitter at WGPT in Oakland (Garrett County); amending Chapter 542 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1988, the General Construction Loan of 1988, to
authorize the crediting of unused appropriations for completed capital projects to
the Construction Contingency Fund; amending Chapter 542 of the Acts of 1988, the
General Construction Loan of 1988, as amended by Chapter 421 of the Acts of 1990,
the Maryland Consolidated Capital Bond Loan of 1990, to permit a portion of the
funds remaining in the appropriation to construct three 192-cell medium security
housing units and a program building in Washington County and a portion of the
funds remaining in the appropriation to construct and equip a 72-bed pre-release
facility for women in Baltimore City to be used to provide a portion of the funds to
acquire property for a new medium/minimum security facility at a site to be
