Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving declare free manumit Liberate and enfranchise the Negroes following to wit, Matthew aged about two years to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred & sixteen And Whereas I executed a former manumission for emancipation of several Negroes Viz.t Francis, Sophia, Bet, Fanny Nell, Hagar Sarah & Rhode I do by these presents make good & valid said manumission to wit, Francis is free on the first day of January seventeen hundred and ninety six Sophia to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred and six Bet to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred and eight, Fanny to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred & ten Nell to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred & Eleven Hagar to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred and three, Sarah to be free on the first day of January seventeen hundred and ninety eight Rhode to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred and thirteen hereby acknowledging each and every of the above named Negroes forever Discharged from all claim of service and right of property from me my heirs Executors Administrators and assigns agreeably to the condition and several dates aforesaid moreover all the Offsprings of the aforementioned Sophia, Bet, Fanny, Nell, Hagar, Sarah and Rhode hereafter to |
