            August Court            1737                    106

to answer unto his Lordship of and Concerning of Such matters and things as shall be then and there objected
against him on his said Lordship and do not stand and abide the Judgment of the Court thereon and do
depart the Same Court without Leave and in the mean time if he be not of the good behaviour towards
his said Lordship and all his good people and more Especially towards the said Martin Fenton and do
depart the same Court without Leave &c

Likewise Came hereinto Court Martin Fenton in his proper person and acknowledged
himselfe Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary in the Sum of
Twenty pounds Sterling money of England of his goods and Chattells Lands and tenements                            
to be made and Levied to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors  If it happen that the
said Martin Fenton do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County
Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then next and do not
then and there give Such Evidence as he doth know on behalfe of his said Lordship against Wonney
Macclemmey in relation to trespass and assault and do depart the Same Court without Leave &c

Benjamin Holland
Benjamin Holland of Somerset County planter Came here into Court in his proper
person and thereupon the said Benjamin Holland is Ordered to give Security
for his appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset                                                                                
to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then next to give Evidence on behalfe
of his Lordship against Lidia Coefeild in Relation to her having a bastard Child born of her
body &c
                    Whereupon the said Benjamin Holland present herein Court in his proper person
acknowledged himselfe Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the sum of five pds
sterling good and Lawfull money England of his goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the
Use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors to be made and Levied If it happen that the same
Benjamin Holland do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County
Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then next and do
not then and there give Such Evidence as he Shall know on behalfe of his Lordship against the
said Liddia Coefeild on Suspicion of her Bearing of a bastard Child and do depart the same
Court without Leave &c


William Conner appears here in Court according to his Recognizance Entered into for his
good behaviour and appearance at this Court    thereupon the said William Conners appearance
is recorded and he and his Securitys accordingly discharged &c
