Orphan her heirs and assigns   If it happen that the afd William Davis the aforesaid Guardian doe not
Comply with the Law in relation to Such Guardianships as aforesaid and doe not deliver up unto the afd Orphan
(or her Guardian) all her estate that he shall receive unto his hands and possession Lett it be of what kind soever peaceably
and quietly when ever the same should be Legally required &a

Benton Coston (son of Stephen Coston Late of Somerset County planter dec.d) an Orphan above the
age of Fourteen Came hereinto Court in his proper person and prays that he may be permitted to Chose a Certain
             Cornelius Dickerson of Somerset County planter as his Guardian which is by the Court here unto him granted &a

                         Thereupon the said Benton Coston makes Choice of the said Cornelius Dickerson as his guardian accordingly
Whereupon the said Cornelius Dickerson is Ordered to take into his Care the aforesaid Orphan and all his Estate reall &
and that he give good security for to Comply with the guardianship aforesaid

                         Thereupon the said Cornelius Dickerson with John Mccuddy of Somerset County Joyner his security both present
here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said Benton Coston in Fifty
pounds Currant money of Maryland of their severall Bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements to be made and Levied to
the Use of the said Benton Coston his heirs or assigns   If it happen that the said Cornelius Dickerson the aforesaid
Guardian doe not Comply with the Law in relation to such Guardianships as aforesaid and doe not deliver up unto the afd
Orphan all his Estate Reall that he shall have in his hands and possession peaceably and quietly when ever the same should be Legally
required &a

          To the worshipfull the Justices for the County of Somerset now Setting the humble petition
of William Cox of the said County sheweth
                                                                                                    That Your petitioner is possest of a negro woman named
Doll which negro is now and has for some Years been Incapable of any Service or Services by reason of her age and
Other Infirmitys that has deprived her of the Common Use of her Limbs so that she is become a Charge of to your petition
who humbly prayeth that said negro may be free from Taxes and Your petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray

                      The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood  It is Considered by the Justices here that
the aforesaid negro Doll be tax free for the future as by the petition aforesaid is praid &a


Daniel Long
petition
          To the Worshipfull Court in Somerset County now sitting    The Humble petition of Daniel Long
Sen.r Humbly Sheweth     Whereas your petitioner having an Occasion to turn the Road of about three
hundred Yards in Length and the new Road that I turn to is as good as the Old One and I have measured them and is
but seven Yards diferrence in Length the new Road is seven Yards Longest Your petitioner therefore humbly prays that
your worships would Grant me an Order for the turning of it and Your petitioner as in duty bound will for ever pray

             the petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood   It is Considered by the Justices here that the aforesd
Daniel Long turn the road as by the petition afd is praid the first makeing the new Road as good and passable as the Old &a
