     petn
          To the worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now sitting the Humble petition of John
Gunby of Somerset County now sheweth that your petitioner having a negro man upwards of Sixty
Years of age and has Lost the sight of One of his Eyes for about ten years and in all probability is very like to
be quite blind for he for some Years Last past at some times Cannot find the way (without feeling) out of doors and more
especially being taken sick some time in January Last and for the most part since remains so to this day which sickness
your petitioner verily beleives and by daily Observation and Tryalls does find has soe Obstructed the sight of his best eye
that he in a manner at some times is quite blind which together with his age and sickness renders him uncapable of being of Little
or noe use to your petitioner who humbly prays your worships will be pleased to take it into Your Consideration and
set him tax free and your petitioner shall ever pray

          The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood  It is Considered by the Justices here that the afd
negro man of the aforesaid John Gunby be fore the future tax free as by the petition aforesaid is praid &c


William Walton
     petn
          To the Worshipfull Justices for Somerset County now sitting  The petition of William Walton
Humbly Sheweth that whereas your petitioner haveing a man Slave Called Peter become with
old age decriped and dimsighted and Other Infermities that may Attend old age your petitioner Humbly prays
that he may be set tax free and your petitioner as in duty bound shall Ever pray

             The petition af.d being Read and heard and fully understood  It is Considered by the Justices here that the af.d
negro man Peter of the af.d William Walton be for the future tax free as by the petition af.d is praid &c

          To the worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County The petition of John Long most humbly
sheweth     That your petitioner by a fall from a horse had his right arm dislocated so that
                   he is not able to support his wife and Children by his Labour which is all the way that he can propose to support
and Maintain them therefore beggs your worships will please to sett your petitioner tax free which will be some Ease to your
petitioner in his present Exigence and your petitioner as in duty bound shall Ever pray

M.r Hugh Stephenson
petition
          To the worshipfull the Justices of his Lordships Peace mett and sitting in Court
at dividing Creek in Somerset County     The Humble petition of Hugh Stevenson in said
    County near Snow Hill         Humbly sheweth that altho some Years agoe I had a Commission to settle the
bounders of two Tracts of the Land the One Called Grove the other Caske quarter yet the Evidences before us
