Mr. Gorman, from the Committee on Corporations, report-
ed favorably, the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Sections 15 and 17, of the Acts of 1868, Chap-
ter 365, entitled an Act to incorporate the Prince George's
County Central Turnpike Company.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Havre de
Grace Savings Bank, of Harford County.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Gorman, from the Committee on Corporations, report-
ed favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter and en-
large the powers of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, in
Maryland.

Which was read the first time, and
On motion by Mr. Gorman,

Ordered to be printed and recommitted to the Committee
on Corporations.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 176, of Chap-
ter 314, of an Act passed January Session, 1870, entitled an
Act to add additional sections to Article 11, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Frederick County, relating to the
powers and duties of the Mayor, Aldermen and Common

Council of Frederick, to follow Section 169, added thereto by
the Act of 1868, Chapter 87, and to enact a substitute in lieu
thereof

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably, the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to explain certain corporate
powers and privileges heretofore conferred, and also, to con-
fer additional corporate powers and privileges upon the Con-
vention of the Protestant Episcopal Church, of the Diocese
of Maryland, by authorizing it to receive by gift, devise, or
otherwise, contributions in money, land, or other property,
and to hold the same for the purposes therein mentioned.
