the period of probation in the future it designated an Executive Com-
mittee to act for the Commission on personnel matters, this Committee
to consist of the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman.
What kinds ol records should fall within the field of publications
of the Hall of Records was made a matter of conference with the
Maryland Archives Commission, the Hall of Records Commission to
be represented at this conference by the Chairman. In the meanwhile
the manuscript of Liber A Prince George's County Court Proceedings,
which has been prepared for the printer, will be held and the appropria-
tion for its publication will be reserved.
Judge Marbury was asked to represent the Commission before the
Legislative Council in order to present for its consideration a bill
embodying the following resolution of the Commission:
"It is the sense of the Commission that all the records
now in the courthouses of the State, which were made prior
to the adoption of the Federal Constitution by the State of
Maryland, be transferred to the Hall of Records and that the
Legislative Council be consulted in the matter of framing such
legislation as might be necessary to bring about this transfer."
The meeting adjourned at 5 P.M. subject to call by the Chairman
in October, 1944.
