CHAPTER 470.
(House Bill 122)

AN ACT to repeal Section 167 of Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title
"Liability—When Operator and/or Owner Required to Give
Security for. "

WHEREAS, Section 167 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), substantially duplicates Sections
188-190 of said Article, which cover the same subject more
adequately; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 167 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Liability
—When Operator and/or Owner Required to Give Security
for, " be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 755)

AN ACT to repeal Section 129 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Garrett County'7, sub-title "Cruelty to Animals".

WHEREAS, The provisions of this section have been super-
seded by a State-wide law and are no longer in effect, there-
fore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 129 of Article 12 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett
County", sub-title "Cruelty to Animals", be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1941.
