NO. 25.

A Joint Resolution authorizing and requesting the State Roads
Commission to survey and estimate cost of a road from Poco-
moke City to Salisbury.

WHEREAS, There is need for an improved highway from
Pocomoke City to Salisbury; therefore, be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
State Roads Commission be and it is hereby authorized and
requested to make a survey of a road from Pocomoke City to
Salisbury, passing through Worcester, Somerset and Wicom-
ico Counties, the said survey to be made for the most direct
route leaving Pocomoke City just north of the Pocomoke River
Bridge on the State highway and touching Salisbury on Pris-
cilla Street, and following said street to the intersection of the
Salisbury and Delmar Highway; and be it further

Resolved, That the said State Roads Commission be and it
is hereby requested to make an estimate of the cost of con-
structing said highway and to report the result of the survey
and estimate to the Governor of the State not later than June
1, 1932.

Approved April 17, 1931.

NO. 26.

A Joint Resolution condemning certain types of motion pic-
tures which are exhibited in the State, and requesting the
Maryland State Board of Censors to exercise a stricter su-
pervision over the censorship of said pictures and completely
to prohibit the exhibition of all motion pictures which under-
mine and destroy the morals of the citizens of the State.

WHEREAS, Indecent, vicious and salacious moving pictures
are exhibited in the State of Maryland; and

WHEREAS, There are many excellent motion pictures which
are helpful and entertaining, yet in a large number vice is
glorified, marital infidelity made light of and high ideals ridi-
culed; and
