5 mentioned freed manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to us or either of us our or either of our executors or administrators and from all manner of claim or right of claim of servitude or service by us or either of us our or either of our executors or administrators forever; and the said Charity Folks and her said children the said Harriet Calder Mary Folks Hannah Folks James Jackson and Charity Folks we do declare to be henceforth freed manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service and claim or right of servitude or service to us or either of us our or either of our executors or administrators forever in the manner and according to and upon the terms set forth and contained in the several and respective instruments of writing herein before mentioned and referred to and which said Instrument of writing and each and every of them we do by these presents confirm and make valid in law to and for the several and respective intents and purposes therein declared and set forth and we do also by these presents agree permit and suffer the said Harriot Calder in consideration that she will feed cloath support and mountain her said children to retain and keep in her possession her said children the said James Ann and William and each and every of them until the periods above limitted and appointed when their respective liberation manumission and freedom shall commence and take effect by virtue of these presents or until they shall or may be liberated in any other ways or means according to Law |
